Youth United for Change has been at the forefront of youth organizing in Philadelphia for many years, and is dedicated to developing young leaders in Philadelphia with political, historical, and economical understanding of society so they can improve lives and communities. The organization believes that – through advocacy, leadership development and organization - youth can play an essential role in improving quality public education, school climate, and environmental health concerns in schools and communities. Youth United students have been effective in developing credible youth leadership and youth-led campaigns on issues relevant to students in the Philadelphia School District.
