Daily Table, a grantee organization in Claneil’s Critical Issue Fund, opened its doors two years ago as an innovative not-for-profit grocery store offering fresh, healthy and affordable food to in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. A second location opened this week in Roxbury.
Daily Table’s mission includes the reduction of food waste by stocking their stores with primarily recovered healthy foods from larger retailers such as Whole Foods and Organic Valley.
