Critical Issue Fund grantee organization Philabundance turned Pennsylvania’s dairy surplus problem into helping feed hungry Philadelphians. Their recently-launched retail brand, Abundantly Good, turns excess milk into cheese. The cheese is sold to the public and $1 of every pound sold is put back into helping the struggling farmers. Not to mention, they are tasty! It’s handcrafted, fresh, and local. So far, Abundantly Good has contributed $9,000 to converting excess milk into tasty cheese for Philadelphians.
