Emerging Leaders Fund grantee organization MindRight recently hit the $1 million mark in venture capital raised for its MindRight Health app. MindRight seeks to provide mental health support to empower communities to health from trauma using a mobile-based platform. The news was featured in Forbes.
Ashley Edwards, founder and CEO of MindRight, is the first Black female founder to raise $1 million in venture capital funds in New Jersey, and one of only 35 to ever do so in the United States.
